Dramatic Last-Minute Goal Secures Victory

Bayer Leverkusen has secured a spot in the UEFA Europa League final after a thrilling 2-1 victory over AS Roma on Thursday night. The German side looked to be heading for a disappointing defeat after Lorenzo Pellegrini gave Roma the lead in the 69th minute.
However, Leverkusen showed great resilience and determination to level the score through Patrik Schick just four minutes later. With the game seemingly destined for extra time, substitute Moussa Diaby popped up with a dramatic winner in the 94th minute, sending the Leverkusen fans into raptures.
Bayer Leverkusen will now face either Sevilla or West Ham United in the Europa League final on May 29 in Budapest. It will be their second major European final in as many years, having lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in 2023.
